2025 JB Johnston 4ft 6 Shear Grab

JB Johnston 4ft 6 Shear Grab - JB Johnston have shear grabs to fit the smallest of machinery from 3ft 10" wide to the largest in the range of 7ft 2" wide.  An optional push off mechanism can be added to the design if required. The rear mounted model comes with a quick attach lift arm system, fitted with twin lift rams and hydraulic controls as standard, cutting to a depth of 11ft on a silage face. Heavy duty models are available, providing larger tines, strengthened head, ram and pivot points.

All of the shear grab cutting blades are individually fitted by weld for easy replacement and the high-quality steel serrated blades are designed to leave a smooth sealed face on the silage pit to eliminate any secondary fermentation, cutting neat blocks every time!  JB Johnston provide all models with cranked Kverneland tines, fitted in steel bushens machined to suit tine taper, with robust stops fitted preventing the blade making contact with the ground when lowered.
